Prayer

I have honestly have not felt very urgent in praying for the country. I am not looking for a debate about Obama, I am trying to support the one who the Lord appoints into office. I believe God can make good no mater who is in there if His people will pray. This though has pushed into the urgency of the situation that we are in. I found this on whitehouse.gov, the official site of the white house which has all of Obama's beliefs and policies, remember this isn't a site attacking Obama, this is like Obama's actual site-

"Obama has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority in his Adminstration. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's decision in that case."

"Obama Opposes a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage: President Obama voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment in 2006 which would have defined marriage as between a man and a woman and prevented judicial extension of marriage-like rights to same-sex or other unmarried couples."

"President Obama supports full civil unions that give same-sex couples legal rights and privileges equal to those of married couples."

"President Obama believes that we must ensure adoption rights for all couples and individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation. He thinks that a child will benefit from a healthy and loving home, whether the parents are gay or not."

"Senator Obama also laid down principles for how to discuss faith in a pluralistic society, including the need for religious people to translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values during public debate."

These are just a few things I found by quickly looking at the website, this is a drastic difference from Bush, who although unpopular and having his own issues, did keep abortion numbers to all time lows and even effected abotion numbers in other countries. Please pray for Obama, and for the country guys, lets pray our nation be healed, as we humble ourselves, pray, and turn from our wicked ways.
