Ok here is one of my recent writings, summing up my past, especially my last year, and what lies before me, a walk of faith in Him:
My back is scorched from the fire behind me, the heat still burning away at my flesh,
The trials of this year so powerless now, through them I walked, in Him I prevailed.
Yes there are scars, but in them are life. Forever I’m marked by death and resurrection
Now on top of this hill I stand, only memories behind, only Your glory ahead
Though I hear my past calling my name, I refuse to look back, I can’t go back.
And even if all I see is dessert before me, I know this is where You are,
With a tiny step of faith, onward I’ll march…
