Christmas

Christmas time is here, commercials of Scrooge coming out, chilling wind, Christmas trees, lights in the park, Christmas music on the radio, commercials of Bing Crosby singing White Christmas, whispers of snowmen and sledding, thoughts of cider and cocoa, considerations of presents-both to give and receive, smiles everywhere, happy people, giving, loving, family, food, candy canes in the store, mentionings of reindeer, and the list could go on forever...

Yet somehow, this was supposed to be about Jesus...

I love the season, and I'm not big on the true meaning of it, every season should be about Jesus, I want to know Jesus over this list of things now, just like I want to know Jesus more than vacations in the summer, and friends in the evening, and relaxing in the weekends, and work during the day. I want Jesus all the time, and I want Him to be fully living through all of us all the time. This isn't just the season of giving, or joy, or even Jesus, this is just another day in a lifetime of constantly following Jesus.
