I have a friend, who was beautifully named
She has a wonderful heart, but it still needs tamed
I don't understand her up and down ways
but I still want to hang with her, many more days
I hope its not weird to rhyme about my friend
but I needed to blog, my drought needed to end
So this one's for you, my favorite one
keep being you, and keep you heart on the Son
I pray He captures your life, and brings forth His will
and in Him you'll rest, that you'll know Him, and be still

That rhyme wasn't half bad,
some might consider that sad.
I'd take it as a compliment,
Not like it's paying the rent.
